I'm so happy!
I'm a single parent returning to work after 5 and a half years. I've just had the news that I got the job of my dreams - excellent pay, excellent company with LOADS of benefits. I'm so happy, this really is the beginning of a new chapter for me!!!

LOL, My name isn't actually Mo - it's short for More Money, More Problems..!
I start on 13th November - gives me time to sort out benefits, tax credits (groan) etc. The company was voted no. 69 in the top 100 companies to work for - hence why I really, really wanted this job. It's working within the accounts department, bit of a mixture of roles to play.
Thanks everyone, I feel soooooo good tonight!New job, new start!:dance:0 -
make sure you go through a lone parent advisor so you get your back to work bonus, and HB/CTC run on :T
drinks are on you :beer:0 -

Don't worry, I've already been to see a New Deal advisor... they gave me a voucher to get a suit (up to £100), I get all the tax credits, a one of payment of £250, plus £40 p/w for a whole year. Oh and on top of that, I get my pay packet from work :rotfl:

Well that sounds great, are you qualified in accounting at all then? I ask as I am currently not working - due to illness - and when I go back I am after something in finance/accounting which I have been studying distance learning while have been off
Hope you are celebrating tonight!Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
