How can I tell if my DVD rw, burns dual layer dvds

I have a medion dvd re-writer, but is there any way to tell if it will burn on dual layer dvd discs

Open my computer and right click on the dvd writer then click on hardware and properties, should say somewhere in the list (at the bottom) atapi dvd dual, if it does you can burn the dual layer disks
