hi all,
I'm new to these boards but have been lurking and using tips from here for a couple of weeks. I'm trying very hard to save money and sort out finances. for the last 2 weeks have bought ingrediants to cook from scratch, not a packet or tin has been opened in this house!, i'm home baking again and am the proud owner of a bottle of 'stardrops'. Now with all this money saving obviously 'luxeries' sp? are out, my 'thing' that I love is a hot bubble bath after the kids are in bed, have now ran out of my bubble bath and wondered if anyone had any ideas what I could use as a replacement. I know you can buy really cheap stuff but I have v.sensitive skin and don't want to risk hives (as has happened before), maybe someone has a recipe for something natural?
thanks in advance all

Hey,
I don't have a recipe for bubble bath, but I wondered if maybe a few drops of lavendar oil might help? Its brilliant as a relaxant, and is actually soothing to the skin (I suffer with dermatographia [lit. skin you can write on] and its just about the only thing I dare put in my bath water)
Or stock pile it when you see it on offer? Savers is good for toiletries like that.
Or... drop massive hints about the contents of your Xmas stocking being large, bottle shaped and full of bubbles!0 -
There are some things listed under bath, and at the bottom of the page is a link to a home made beauty products site.
