hi everyone!
I just can't make a decision if i would like to open an ebay shop or not and need some advise!
basically, i got loads of stuff (2 small suitcases) that wanted to get rid of and want to put them all on ebay for sell ( they are all brand new items). and the items that i sell got quite a few competitiors. So is it worth opening up a shop and put it as BIN or just list it as auction?
Any Advise??
thanks in advance.

I closed my shop when ebay increased the listing costs, FVfs and then reduced the visibility of shop listings, I just couldn't see what on earth I was paying an additional £6 for in the end.
If you re selling competitive items then a shop might not be a good idea as your items might not even show up if your competitors have a lot of 'normal' auctions listed. It might be worth just going for a mix of straight auctions and BINs. However, if you are selling a whole mix of things then a shop might be worth the money, but also list a few auctions as well to point people to your shop. I used to have an insert in all my auctions pointing people to my ebay shop, and it seemed to work.
Also remember that the shop is free for the first 30 days (for the first time you open one), so as long as you remember to cancel it in time you might want to trial it?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
