Problems with Honeywell CM921

Hi not sure if this is the right forum (very sorry if it isnt). I have a worcestor bosch greenstar boiler and a Honeywell CM921 wireless thermostat controller. Had a few probs with the boiler(condensate pipe freezing!!) Have managed to sort that myself but have noticed that there is a problem with the thermostat. When i turn the heating off via the control the room temp continues to go up?? Also when i want heating to come on having to really turn up temp to get it to come on. If i have buy a new thermostat will i have to do anything? At the moment i am not trusting thermostat so am turning heating off/on manually. Just wondered if anyone else had had a similar problem??

I've had to replace several CM927's under warranty as they developed a mind of their own.

Have you checked the battery's are good? You're not using re-chargeable's I hope as they won't work properly in this.

If you replace like for like then no wiring be need to be altered.

Maybe power the units off then on and reset the pairing to see if it works. I find the wireless units ok but if possible always go for a hard wired unit.

Agree, check the batteries and also do a range check.
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc
