Heya
If anyone could help I'd be very grateful... my computers' defragmenter and disc clean up (stashed under "System tools") doesn't work...
Anyone know of a reputable site that I could download another one from?
Any help would be appreciated and thanked
Thank you in advance

assuming you are using Windows XP..........
Defrag Using the Properties of Your Local Disk
1. Open My Computer.
2. Right-click the local disk volume that you want to defragment, and then click Properties.
3. On the Tools tab, click Defragment Now.
4. Click Defragment.
To remove files stored on your hard disk that you no longer use, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, and then click My Computer.
2. Right-click the disk in which you want to free up space, and then click Properties.
3. Click the General tab, and then click Disk Cleanup.
4. Click the Disk Cleanup tab (if it is not already selected), click to select the check boxes next to the files that you want to remove, and then click OK.
5. Click Yes to the proceed with this action, and then click OK.0 -

Two ways:
1. Go to Start --> Run, type in msconfig and OK. On the 'General' tab, select 'Diagnostic Startup' and Apply/OK. Restart your PC.
2. Restart your PC normally and when it reboots whilst Windows is loading, repeatedly press the F8 key, then select Safe Mode.

when you say not working, what's happening?
If XP.. start, run, cmd,
defrag c:
cleanmgr
should kick them off.
If you have 98, then try it in safe mode.
