Anyone got any experience of the above camera ?

Its 12mp and has the supposedly very high regarded exr sensor

I bought the missus one for christmas and the image quality compared to my 3 year old 6mp panasonic digital camera is rubbish, really grainy, even after messing with the settings and Fuji's troubleshooting.

Ive contacted Fuji and awaiting a reply , really think I must have a dud as my phone takes far superior pictures.
