Reporting dodgy buyer costs £15????

My daughter is devastated. She sold some Playstation games on Ebay and is still waiting for payment of 1 game. She just noticed, the buyer left her negative feedback:
THIS GAME WAS A COUNTERFEIGHT...;REPORTED TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The game is still at home, as he hasn't paid yet! (and btw it isn't a fake)
She tried to report him as she wants the feedback removed, but after filling in loads of forms found out it would cost her $30.

Is there anything else she can do?
Incidentlly, the buyer's feedback so far is 1 negative feedback, and he left 12 negative feedbacks for others today.

Can anybody help?

Hopefully the buyer will be made NARU (for not paying) and the feedback will be removed. Failing that, it's defamatory / libellous so anybody else could report the feedback on that basis.
In short, don't let her worry. A few of us here try to make sure the good guys always win.

Tell her to leave feedback saying 'auction wrecker, check FB left by this user. Game not even posted!' and tell her to leave a follow up to the neg they have left for her so that anyone looking at her feedback will be able to see what has happened.

Shellsuit, she has left follow-up on her negative feedback, but not yet for him. Will tell her to do so when she gets back from college.

Follow up the feedback received, leave negative feedback re nonpaying bidder, and also file a non paying bidder alert. Hopefully something will be done as a result.

Don't let this one incident dishearten your daughter, some people are out there to make life a misery for other and unfortunately she has been on the receiving end. Good luck

No-one has suggested the obvious: started an unpaid item dispute.

If you close it and he hasn't responded, his feedback will be removed.

We must have missed that. We looked and only found the report bits, which she filled in until they wanted money from her. Will have to check again

Just done it, thanks, will have to wait and see now.

BTW just checked what else this person bid on and won - he 'spent' a couple of 100000s (there is NO mistake in those 0s) pounds. Those other sellers must be livid, at least DDs sell was only £10
