We're with nPower. The system was installed in March and we sent the first reading on June 15th (it should have been June 25th but we were going on holiday). The cheque arrived on July 5th.0

I'm with E.on. Money was paid into my nominated account (no cheques!) within three weeks of providing the meter reading for all three quarters since my system was installed. Their current T&Cs specify 'within 30 days'.0

Scottish Power are the same, BACS payment into account averaging just about 2 weeks from meter reading submission here .....
Anyway, if anyone is a small business there's always the 'Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998' ..... I would also wonder what would happen if individuals chased their FiT partner and mentioned interest on late payment.... probably just easier to change FiT partner

Hope someone can help .. I would like Sanyo Hit 250e01 x16 Panels and a sunnyboy 4000Tl inverter 4KW system .. is it possible to get this for £13,000? Im near Bath .. if not I will go for the Sharp Panels.
Thanks0 -
Perhaps this thread had died .. no one has posted for sometime....
I have bought the Sanyo HIT H250E01 panels .. 16 of the little beauties and will when they are installed, a Sunny boy 4000TL inverter... also a blue tooth monitor.
My Question is ... What should I do about my Energy provider I'm with E-ON who have a high starting tariff for the first energy units consumed then it goes down you the rest. I have someone in the home all day so will be able to use the washing machine / dishwasher /ironing etc with my home produced electricity ..
Thanks

Sorry your post was missed.
I think that most people will be on a two-tier electricity supply plan so you'll find that you will generate & save energy at the tier 2 (lower) rate.
I'd guess that it would be better to not change energy providers whilst the system is going in, it might just cause a little confusion somewhere along the line. You don't need to register for FiTs with your current energy provider either, just choose the one that you're happiest in dealing with ... We're with Scottish Power and I must say, from following a number of threads, that they do seem to pay very quickly when compared to a number of other providers which get mentioned on this forum ...

I am going to have mine installed this side of winter too. I get the feeling it's a better bet than trying to beat the rush with panel shortages in the 3 months after Christmas were folks try and get an installation before the FITs drops on 31st March.0 -
micky2 I also had mine installed in winter. In fact it was in a snowstorm and the panals were covered in snow for days. However I have had more than £1000 so far from them. I get my fits from Eon and I have to say apart from a slight initial hiccup they have been very good. Loving this Indian summer too:)Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0

I am having a little chuckle, they get fitted 2 days after I get back from Florida .. if only we had their Sun !!!
In the winter months will I generate enough electricity in the middle of the day to run things like a Tumble dryer/ cooker/ dishwasher etc ? or will I have to use the imported lecky
