Family holiday for June 2011

Hi
I am looking to book a holiday for myself, my husband and our 3 yo daughter for June this year but I have no idea where to go! We have not been abroad since before she was born so not used to looking for family destinations.
We would rather go AI so we can keep better control of our spending.
My main concern is to not end up somewhere too 'British' if you get my drift but would like somewhere warm and beachy!
I'm not really sure on the budget yet so would rather concentrate on the destination then work out what we can do money wise. Definitely no £2500 + though.
If anyone has helpful advice or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

South of France is lovely as is Northern Italy - Siblu offer a range of 'camping' style holidays, from tents to luxury mobile homes which would be ideal although not AI, but defo worth considering.0
