Best Buy Printer?

I am running Windows XP and may or may not be buying a new pc system but wondered if anyone can recommend a good photo printer and where is the best place to purchase one? I would preferably like one with a scanner too.

Before you buy check mx2.com or 7dayshop.com for the price of the inkjet cartridges for your prospective printer.

You may find the Lexmarks and HPs prohibitively expensive.
Epson CX3200 3-in-1 or similiar would be my recommendation.

Is there no one who has a good printer that they would recommend?
  • Epson DX4050 is the entry level 3 in 1 printer, check out the big brothers of the same range, I think it is a DX5500.

Epson carts at the moment are only original Epsons which we sell for £7.95. Epson have modified the chip which means they cant be remanned.

  • I would highly recomend a canon printer. I bought the cheapest Canon available at the time an i 250 for about £33 from ebuyer. It's print quality was so good I printed up my Daughters wedding pics 10 X 8 inch and they are excellent.
As said before check out cartridge prices first and buy non branded ones as they are cheaper. You do not have to buy a dedicated photo printer to get good prints a two cartridge system like mine works very well.
