Where have you been looking? This is a breed that is prone to a lot of health problems so please ensure that the parents (and pup where appropriate) have had the relevant health tests as a bargain pup may cost you significantly more in the long term.
the kennel club is a good place to start http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/services/public/psar/Default.aspx?breed=6149
Champdogs should also have lots of health tested KC reg dogs http://www.champdogs.co.uk/If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
I agree that the Kennel Club should be your first port of call - you can also get contact details of the breed clubs from them who should be able to put you in touch with reputable breeders in your general area.
The breed clubs also have a code of ethics that members have to abide by - so breeders recommended by them should be a far "safer" route than looking at random websites.
Personally, I would avoid Champdogs as there are, unfortunately, a lot of less desirable breeders advertising on there.
Good luck

or you could try a breed rescue site? but, I would imagine these charming little dogs have mostly devoted slaves (owners?)........but nearly all breeds have rescue sites!0

There is a rescue place near me for cavviees. In Essex. WE got ours from the RSPCA . They were not pups though and I guess we were very lucky. If you are near Essex I will post the name. (I'm not sure if it is allowed)Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0

I would second the rescue centre idea. If you are keen on a certain breed you may find that breed there but you would most likely find an ideal dog of a different breed especially if you chose it for its personality rather than its looks.
They are prone to lots of health problems and it may cause you a lot of heartbreak as well as expense...
Please, please, please consider a rescue dog, the centre near me is full to bursting and they are desperate to rehome..Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000
Save £12k in 2013 no.34 £11,800/£12,000
'How much can you save' thread = £7,050
Total=£29,100
Mfi3 no. 88: Balance Jan '06 = £63,000.
Balance 23.11.09 = £nil.

Go to the breed club, talk to the breed club secretary if you want a puppy and read the breed club website if they have one. It really is the only good way to start with finding a pedigree pup, through the breed club!0

I would advise asking the KC who their accredited breeders are in your area.0

As others have said find a breeder via the KC. Don't go for random ones on the net. As CKC can have some serious health problems it's important to find the correct breeder who has done the correct health tests. Personally I would avoid Rescues with this breed (due to the Health Problems) as knowing the lines is very important. They are prone to Mitral Valve disease which appears in most CKC at some point they also may suffer springomyelia.
For a good breeder don't expect to get a Pup immediately you may have to wait months for the correct puppy but it's worth waiting.

As others have said, this breed has a multitude of health probs. My sister's cavvie died after many epileptic fits and he was only 8 years old. Is there a reason you want this specific breed/you have experience of them - or just you like the look of them?0 -
My sister's cavvie died after many epileptic fits and he was only 8 years old.
Is epilepsy breed specific???? Or even species specific?? There are many, many causes of epilepsy - therefore, it isn't always hereditary. An animal can start seizuring despite being bred from generations of healthy dogs.
Also there is NO test for epilepsy - so to imply that breeders are somehow "negligent" if they breed an affected individual is grossly unfair
. My own breed [amongst many others] are currently funding research into this condition and compiling a DNA database of affected individuals.
Obviously, no reputable breeder would ever breed from an animal thus afflicted and there is absolutely no excuse for doing so. Epileptic animals should be excluded totally from any breeding programme.
Funny though how humans will quite happily procreate whilst ignoring these very conditions in themselves - and yet damn a breeder who has the misfortune to produce such an animal as irresponsible! "Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718
