Do you mean our house? Do you rent it and you are now looking to buy it, or are you talking about two different houses?Gone ... or have I?0

Sorry no we are buying it. Only one house0

Your own house is not counted for capital purposes so will not affect your entitlement to CTB.Gone ... or have I?0

Thankyou. Also we have an Isa which is for the house. We have interested only and the isa. Would the Isa be counted?0

Do you already have the ISA, or is it being set up as a repayment vehicle alongside the mortgage? If the latter, and you can prove the purpose of the ISA, it should not be counted. If it is an existing ISA, it is likely to be counted.Gone ... or have I?0

It is existing but was set up the same time as mortgage and it is one for a mortage. As they send us letter to tell us they dont think it will cover mortgage at the moment0

No one here can tell you if you will get CTB because we don't know the details of your circumstances - for example how much income you have.0
