Downgrading from Barclays Additions plus

I am thinking of downgrading from Barclays Additions plus account as i am fed up paying £15 a month/£180 a year for the privilege,i currently have an agreed overdraft of £4000 which i never use but would like to keep just in case of emergencies, i dont need their roadside assistance etc.
If i did downgrade does anyone know if Barclays will be awkward and withdraw the overdraft facility or will there be no problems? I don't particularly want to change to another bank because of the hassle with direct debits etc.

A £4000 overdraft!? Oh my word

All i can see from their website is any amount over £300 (or £1000 + for premier) is 'agreed' regardless of account, it just seems if you have a 'pay monthly' account the % AER is lower so can't see them being awkward with reducing it but the only way to be sure is... ask the question

I downgraded from the additions back to free account, and it didnt affect my
overdraft limit. This was a few years ago. As other post mentioned,the overdraft
interest rate is higher on the non additions account.
