help and advice about d.l.a and e.s.a

hiya.

I have been off work since September with health problems with my legs. I have applied for DLA and as I have now been made redundant I have applied for ESA .As I have never applied for either benefit can someone tell me how long do I have to wait to hear back from them regarding my applications.if any 1 can help that would be great and I would be most appreciative
