so you don't mind entering for anything then, especially if the t&c's state you need certain ages for the children, dates when/if they have to be taken on a particular date etc ?
there are sometimes certain specifications that need to be taken into account when entering some of them :)
if you enter then you find the specifications didn't suit/you couldn't take, then you've entered someone else's chance of winning :)

"a lot of users of these forums are intimidated and put of posting as older members who know the ins and outs and workings of things are nasty to newer members, its a shame ...we're all just trying to help"

we appreciate that, the sticky's on the forum are there to read & help any misunderstandings :)

excuse me, i wasn't being nasty to the op,
all we asked was that could they please post the details for the holidays/etc posted,
on the majority of comp forums/sites the search usually shows when you put in the title who was the last poster of the comps,
it is usually forum etiquette to know magazines/postals/etc postings usually have reg posters on all forums so a quick search, or ask in the comps disc as MSE Andrea/velvetglove said
    would save any misunderstandings.

i actually have the magazine here but was stuck on an answer so looked itr up so i know the terms and conditions thank u!
Massive Thank you to all who post comps & answers on here .i'm very grateful , good luck all.

The way I have read this thread it isn't the regs who are being nasty or taking umbrage, they have merely asked for the details to be posted as usual and ask that the person posting lets the regular poster know that they don't need to buy the mag/post the answers. That isn't being nasty it is being practical. :)
its the way things are being wrote or asked . the t &c thing could have been an oversight on posters part but then a tyrade of comments including sarcasm HAS been posted .. i am not taking umbridge was just saying people should be more underdstanding that some people dont know how to work these forums and the rules and they post things helping others out and then get met by a backlash of comments slating them for posting help!
i didnt even know only certain people could post mag comps glad i didnt try to help lol

way i'm reading this then (please correct me if you think i'm wrong)
it doesn't realy seem to matter that a regular poster who subscribes/buys/ post the reg comps every month/week or whatever & takes the time to type out all the details/t&c's every time it's not realy necessary ?
so anyone can post them without putting all the details on ?
just the answers & randomly post them ? not realy bother with following each issue through ?

so this wasnt wrote with the slightest of sarcasm ???? no wonder things get blown out when you write correct me if im wrong, and as soon as someone does u have a go?!?!?
really dont understand the people on here a polite , did u know regular people usually post these comps see sticky on forum would probably have done the trick .......and minus the upset to folk!:(

that's good, but there are a lot on members on here that don't have the magazine, that's why it's nice of the op to post the details along with the answers :)

no, it wasn't wrote with sarcasm, i just find it a bit upsetting for a reg poster to spend time posting/typing out every month/week all the details then to find someone has posted the comps without the details :)

your profile says you are a new, so why do you think/say..

" and as soon as someone does u have a go?!?!?"

bit strange for a newbie to say that unless they've been following these comp postings for a long while

From all that I have read no-one was slated for posting the competition and if as you said it is the way that things are written I would suggest you re-read what and how you have written your response to my post! :)
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.
