    Happy birthday Greenbee!!!

No flying so far apart from dailies.. got someone here putting in new windows in the kitchen & bathroom of our bungalow (annex to the house) - we might do holiday lets with if we ever finish the refurb.. I begrudge spending money on a house I'm never going to live in, but I know we need to do it; frustrating when there are so many things in our house that I'm having to put up with in the meantime.

and in a bit I'm going to meet up with sparkleworld and have some coffee :D I will fly this afternoon, promise!

What I've found really depressing this morning is the sitting room which looked so fab, looked a tip this morning. No other humans n the house ..needs a ten minute rush around.

Also, I have a feral cat indoors because she's not been well and the vet suggested if we could we keep her in until spring and try and build rapport with her for future ease. She's been doing rally well, got so much better but this morning there was diarrhoea in several places. Its unsettling for her, a PITA to clear up and get rid of the smell and tbh just feels emotionally draining...she gets this recurrent problem despite no diet changes for a couple of months now. :(

Morning all from the wet world of dust

I think there must be a mouse in the kitchen by the general disarray in there this morning and the fact that there are permanently at least 2 mogs in there on guard.

Greenbee wish you a very Happy Birthday

JoJo - thanks for the trumpet tips. I've given it a good clean out and it seems a lot better

    Mrs B welcome

Dailies done so off to make a start on the living room, decs to come down and room to be cleaned.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes :) I have my end of year review with my boss to look forward to this afternoon :p I'm well prepared and planning on enjoying it. I've also had some lovely pressies including polycarbonate chocolate moulds from my DB, SIL and nephew... I get the feeling they liked the chocolates I made for Christmas ;)
    Happy Birrthday to greenbee

Ok... please tell me that as its fruit it counts as healthy eating :) It's raining here today, so exercise may be a problem. I also need to work out who is coming over this evening and what to cook (from the freezer!)

He isn't wanting to have cake and eat it is he? Sounds like a bit of back pedalling to me.. spent time with ex realised why we left, maybe started to miss what we didn't have..
Nope... he's not getting any cake here, and he has to start to make the effort. If he wants to see me, then he makes plans and arrangements and has to fit round me having a life. Biggest problem is that he misses his kids, and therefore gives in to them rather than risk alienating them. Anyway, we'll see how it goes - we're both prone to being oversensitive and misinterpreting things. He does know what my plans are in terms of selling the house and moving (and getting a dog :D), and is aware that I'm going ahead with those regardless, although if by the time I'm buying he's ready to move with me then we can look for places together. But I'm not hanging around with my life on hold. Hopefully the counselling and life coaching he's got booked will help - he knows I'm expecting him to stand on his own two feet now and won't be doing things for him.

Anyway, must get going as I've had a late start - breakfast is nearly eaten, so I have to get to the farm shop for salad and veggies to eat with the contents of the freezer!

Speaking of counselling and such I am sure we are back at mediation next week.. I might just no boher.. it seems pretty futile.. there is nothing we can do in terms of the house at this moment and we are kind of muddling hrough with the children, though in a few years I can see only the little ones going at all.

DD3 is back at pi$$y clinic Thursday.. another huge waste of my time.. and theirs..

Actually.. I think these 2 clash so a great excuse to reschedule the one I want to go to least! :D

I am adding to my 4 items a fifth.. knit some more of Baloo's cardy.. I hate the pattern.. far too many sts.. :(

Successful HHC (well 40 mins actually) and struck off my list what I've got done. Now only need to do my window sill/paint work and it's all done :T. Decluttering a strawberry and mango cup of tea and then pottering around to Post Office to post parcel for someone and will walk the dog before picking up DS from pre-school. Need to sit down for a bit as I'm finding drugs make me a lot more tired and no real energy but apart from that they're working well and I've not had any 'bad' thoughts for almost a week now :j:T - long may it continue.

Greenbee, I'm glad OH knows exactly where he stands. That pudding Pen Pen sent you does look gorgeous doesn't it and I'm almost drooling on the keyboard!!

Lostinrates, I know what you mean about it being disheartening when you put all that effort into making a room like nice and it's carnage after no time. Maybe you'll have to set some rules about putting toys etc away after the kids have finished with them (says she who's always picking up after my 2!) Sorry to hear about the cat, hope she gets better soon.

Right, better pack this parcel up ....

LOL I wish I could blame kids...we don't have any and DH is away..it can only be me and the cats...because only we have been in there...even the dogs can't be blamed

Picking up toys though..I do....the animals leave toys all over the place:D
