Woo hoo! I've just been upgraded from a Moneysaving Stalwart to a Serious Moneysaving Fan! I know it's probably really sad but that's just made my day :D

So, a little £3.99 deposit appeared from a bet I did last week. Also got over £400 for the expenses I've been putting off doing for ages.

Decided that if I manage to get my credit from Gas/Elec overpayment any time soon I'll pay off the £500 I've got left owing to my Mum which means I'll have an extra £200 in October's pay and £300 in December's and that's another debt gone...so excited!

Gone from £10,175.38 debt in January and NO savings to £4,214.75 debt and £11,243.56 in savings. I actually have no idea how I've done it - I'm so proud of myself :D

Helped someone at work do their expenses and they bought me some biscuits and gave me £10 (which I did try to refuse but she was having none of it!) At least that'll do next week's shopping!

I've absolutely no plans for the weekend - I'm sure it'll be a very cheap one so that's good!

    xx

I wish I knew - I know a good couple of grand was from betting and doing the Census and Election came in handy but apart from that, I am actually clueless - maybe the banking fairy has paid me a visit! x

I have looked at the betting thread so many times but I just can't get my head round it :(

It is probably of the same family as the cleaning fairy and the luck family, they very rarely visit me :o

Got a little susprise email from Amazon Marketplace today saying one of my books had sold and I needed to post it. I can't even remember listing the books - must have been over a year ago! Only getting £5.80 out of it but better than nothing I suppose. I don't even know how Amazon pay people (fingers crossed my bank details are up to date on there).

Anyway...all good and extra pennies for saving!

I've been getting really excited about starting a new year with lots of little goals to reach. Really need to find a hobby that isn't related to spending all my spare time on MSE!
