The new electronic calculators don't use calories - just carbs/fat/protein/fibre to show propoints. You can also use it as a propoints diary, as it calculates your allowance for the week (+ 49 pp for the weeks' safety net). So if you calculate a meal's PP value you can deduct it off your weekly allowance on the calculator which will show you what's left. After a week, you're forced to recalculate your allowance (as your weight makes a difference) and may see a drop in daily points). If you go over allowance, it'll start deducting ProPoints from your weekly allowance of 49 ProPoints.
Quite good really and has helped me a lot, but I can understand the feelings of people on the Discover(points) plan, as they may have invested a small fortune in scales/calculators & books that are now useless.0 -
Was thinking of going back to WW but this all sounds very complicated. Are there any other threads on here about it?Jan Grocery challenge

Thanks very much for this OP. I was looking for a new healthy-eating recipe book and this one seems perfect! My local WH Smith had none in stock so I rang the nearest town. Luckily they had just 1 of each of the 2 different ones in stock and are keeping for me until tomorrow.
My son was looking for a Captain Underpants book and again the local WH Smith was OOS but the other one had just 1 left and is keeping that too!
So, if you hadn't posted, I wouldn't be getting 2 books and my son would also be missing out. :j
Thanks! xx0 -
WW website has a 'community' board might be worth popping onto it and looking at what members have to say about the new plan - its free to join and u can post any questions about the new plan on there...
Hope this helps...0 -

Does anyone know if these are still on offer in store?
I have looked online but they don't seem to be showing, so maybe expired?
Just trying to save myself a wasted journey if I can......
Many thanks!0
