xbox live

hi, i now have the internet getting installed at home in a couple of weeks! my son wants xbox live. how do i set this up? and instead of paying with a card etc can you just buy like 10 pounds worth or something? also do i just connect the xbox to the modem via a cable or by a special wireless thing? which is best and where do you get them from, thanks

however.when you get the xbox.select you dont want gold and select silver
you will get a free upgrade to gold for a month
so no hurry
theres a deal on the xbox dash for 12 months under £27 just now

all 360s have an ethernet connection
so you can hook them up by wire
the newer 360s have wifi.the older ones need an additional wifi adapter

I need to renew our kids xbox live and whilst checking for best price came across your post. However, I have been on the dashboard and cannot find the offer - can you direct me to where I should be looking please.

I cant get on my 360 just now
my boys watching a film streaming on the PS3 and its more than my lifes worth! :eek::o

Any chance you can make that image slightly bigger?

Hardwire the Xbox to your network, even wireless "N" kit isn't quick enough for some games.

Definitely get a 12 month sub from amazon, it means you dont enter your card details into the xbox, you can buy ms points which you use for arcade games etc, its easy to do,

SO as we haven't been on xbox live AT ALL yet, when i plug it in, and turn it on, and i buy say a 3 month or 12 month card from eg, tesco. DO i just enter the number on the card into xbox live and then i can just start or do i have to register with my card online and stuff which i dont really want to do? thanks every1
