We have booked a cheap flight to Benidorm in March and I am now looking for really cheap accommodation. We would really like to rent an apartment privately from an owner but I am having difficulty finding 1 cheap enough! Would also consider a cheap hostel or Spanish type hotel. Any recommendations please?

Why cheap, buy cheap, get cheap.
The trouble with buying cheap is that you get cheap and then when you come home you'll be moaning that the place was filthy, noisy,
full of cockroaches etc. etc, etc.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I dont know what you consider " Cheap enough" but these people manage 1000s of private lets and are based at Gemelos 2/4 20 ( Levante area, Yellow Brick Rd just down from Rio Park Hotel)
alternatively search https://www.RoomRateCompare.com who have a choice of 205 hotels/apartments in Benidorm0 -
so what happens if you dont find anything cheap enough? will you forfeit the cost of the flight?I used to be a Travel Agent Used to be a travel agent for 23 Years, but now out of the industry. However I will help with what i can.0

Try Thomsons, they have hotels from £128 for 7 nights for 2 people.0 -
Flexibletrips.com have some really cheap accommodation try them, they're in the thomas cook group so you could always ask in the shop and get the same price. I used them in december 2009 for a weekend break in Benidorm flexi were fine but i did realise that paying £5 a night sc would probably give me a flea pit but it was only a quick shopping trip so cheap was fine. What is your budget as 1 mans cheap is another mans luxury so give us a clue then we can actually recommend specific hotels etc.0

Thanks to everyone who posted. Just to let you know after much deliberation we have booked the Hotel Mont Park. It gets mainly good reviews and is very reasonably priced.0

Out of interest who did you book the hotel through ie website, travel agent, direct etc.0
