Can i make a ppi refund/claim ??

Hi , to be brief in 2006 i bought a sofa from DFS and was prepared to pay cash there and then , at this point they asked if i would like to spread the cost interest free over 12 months which wouldnt cost me anymore than paying cash which assuming i didnt take any ppi out with it i thought why not, i did tell them i did not want ppi by the way.
What i know now is there trick was to swap me to another rep to sign for the interest free loan but because the agreement was like reading a novel what i didnt notice is THEY had ticked a box which meant i was also accepting ppi through the finance provider which was Lloyds/black horse finance.
I feel i was tricked into ppi and want to know if anyone thinks this is grounds to claim the ppi back , also how do i ???
Lastly i have no record of proof of purchase such as the agreement or receipt (thrown away once i had paid off the finance). thanks.

    Hi there
    In my opinion I think you have a case, so do give it a go.

    What you do is pursue the ones who set this up for you, these are responsible.
    Complete the questionnaire as shown here;
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance#reclaim

    The questionnaire replaced the template letter on this site, but your able to write a letter in your own words if you want to.
    You can do either or both.
    If you write, then request you want them to refund all you have paid into the PPI plus interest.
    Give your reasons.
    Then confirm you look forward to hearing from them by 8 weeks of your letter.
    Remember to enclose details of the account number.

    Also keep copies of all you sent and received in the post, in case you need to refer to this again at some point.

    Hope this helps, good luck and please keep us posted, cheers.;)

    .

    Is this a computer generated tick or pen? if pen, you would never be able to prove it wasnt you who ticked it.
