Hello
I am looking at adding ddr2 memory for my desktop, would there be a problem with different memory sticks having different clock speeds to ones already in.

Lower speed of the memory sticks is what the computer will use. So best to use same memory and the right memory for motherboard.0

so if two sticks have 667 and another two have 800 then clock speed across all will be 667 then?0

Yes, so you need to use same type and ideally only the highest speed the motherboard can take for best performance. Then again, makes little difference if motherboard is old.0 -
Cheers for that
Yes m/board is old
and manual states that it supports Supports Dual-Channel DDR2 533/667/800.
I could do with a new one but i cant afford at moment0
