help - being redirected to websites I'm not trying to visit

Two days ago I had malware ( antivirus8) on my PC and thanks to people on here managed to get rid of it. However since then I have been having problems when going on the internet - out of the blue a new tab will open and a website I haven't any intention of visiting will open (or try to open) - eg chinese tv. Looking up the browser history I can see bizzare web addresses for when it has happened, with redirects sometimes. I've done a full avast scan and a malwarebytes scan and both appear clear, but I am concerned as something is obviously wrong and I am reluctant to use the PC for secure transactions etc as I just don't know what's going on. If anyone can suggest anything I would be really grateful.

Thanks

I can't find the malwarebytes definition number on the log. Go to LOGS, and please copy the latest log file here.

Meanwhile (you may be waiting for a reply), have you updated definitions on malwarebytes before running the scan? I would try that: go to UPDATE tab, CHECK FOR UPDATES, then run a FULL SCAN. Remove everything it finds and post log here.

Then install and run hjiackthis (the top button when the programme is open) and post the log (made in seconds) here.

Thank you both - apologies for the delay in coming back to post ( I'm desperate to sort this but I had to leave the PC due to unexpected visitors). This is the original log from when I removed the Antivirus 8.
I've updated the malwarebytes just now and I'm going to do a full scan this evening. I'll also do a HijackThis log and the combofix one - I reckon doing all those will take a few hours. I'll post back when they are all done - and thank you again.

Edited to add - just did a quick malwarebytes scan now and it has found nothing

Sorry for the delay in posting but have been having trouble getting reply to submit.

Not sure if it's significant, but browser history is showing c.php before some of the redirected websites - also I don't know if this might be relevant but "malwarebytes" is coming up within the addresses of the unwanted websites, eg one recently was http// thaihostingplus.com.....pk?tsearch=malwarebytes&search_button.x=0&search_button.y=0

sent you a pm with a download link...

you need to turn off avast while you scan , do it until restarted

    from bleeping computer

    AVAST
Right- click on the avast! icon in system tray (looks like this: avast.jpg but orange in color starting with v5). Select avast! shields control and there will be options to disable avast for 10 minutes, 1 hour, until the computer is restarted or permanently.
