0844 Friends and family

Does anyone know if the cheap calls providers like Telesavers who use a 0844 No are allowed to be nominated as a F&F number and especially a best friend?

0845 numbers can be nominated but not 0844 ones.

All your Friends and Family numbers can be 0845 numbers, if you wish - not just one. BT changed the rules several years ago.

The only exception is if you let BT automatically choose your F&F numbers each bill, in which case 0845 numbers are not allowed to be in F&F (but can still be your bestfriend!)

You can look up a specialised number range to get the pricing group and it also shows if the range is allowed for F&F and F&F auto.

Heh that was some read. But obviously the definitive article, and simple really if you have a number that you want to cost. Frightening when you realise just how many different charging groups there are.
