External Hard drive not showing correct size

I have a 500G Western Digital external hard drive however it is only showing up as 300G. I have gone into info (on my Mac) and it states in MOS-DOS (FAT32)

Somewhere I have lost around 200G of space so I can't anything more at the moment. I have loads of stuff on it and I don't want to format it or anything like that. Is there an easy solution?

Try and save the stuff you have on it now .
Recuva will probably help with missing files .

Once saved you can diagnose the drive for problems .
