For peeps going to Legoland on Basic Merlin passes, from this year in the month of August, you are only allowed to enter the Park after (either 2pm or 4pm-not sure which).

I only have one child this will bother,so am thinking of a premium pass for him and a basic pass for the others. xx
  • The following restrictions will apply to Standard Merlin Annual Pass renewed AND collected from 4th January 2011:

    • No entry to LEGOLAND Windsor before 2pm in August.
    • No entry during Fright Nights at THORPE PARK.
    • Not valid for admission to The Castle Dungeon at Warwick Castle.
    • No entry on 14th February at the London Eye.
    • No entry on 30th and 31st October at the London Eye and The London Dungeon.
    • Parking NOT INCLUDED
The Premium Merlin Annual Pass includes:

New Restrictions on the Basic Pass
I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010
  • Anyone off to Blackpool later in the year.. (shame we are going in Feb)

You may be aware that Merlin Entertainments will soon be opening some new attractions and experiences in Blackpool. These attractions are expected to open late spring 2011, although they will not become part of the Merlin Annual Pass until late summer 2011. The attractions are:
    • Blackpool Tower
    • Blackpool Dungeon
    • Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Your Merlin Annual Pass currently provides entry to SEA LIFE Blackpool

If it's like last last year it's half price only for individual passes....but could change this year...

If the 50% is available, then you can renew now, send in your passes to merlin, and the will add on 12 months from the end of your existing pass.

Merlin have now changed their pass prices and have new terms, so bear in mind what the right pass mix is now due to the changes. It could be worth having just 1 premium pass so you get the free parking, and the remainder as basic passes. It does depend on what parks you visit as at the moment, the car parks are different prices ranging from free upto £5 (Alton towers).

if you send your passes in to renew now - to add 12 months onto the current expiry date - how will the parks know which terms to apply - e.g. we have passes until June and these currently have always included our parking - how would they know that the parking should be included ?
  • The 50% offer starting on Jan 14th - is that for renewals or new members?

I don't have a membership at present so just weighing up if I should go for the £80 offer or wait until the 14th and go for the half price offer.

    thanks

    It is for any-one.
  • 50% for disabled merlin pass? Is it only for basic or can be upgraded as well?

A disabled person can get a carer in free- the only criteria is that the carer is over 16. They get a pass and the carer does not have to be a specific person as there is no photo ID for them.

hi, I have just been on Chessington World of Adventure's website and the prices of these passes are going up to £156 if you purchases them online and £174 if you purchase on the day. I wonder if they are going to charge £75 or £78 when they come on to offer.
