Back to work grant

I wondered if anyone could help me, I've signed off, and rather frustratingly it was at 25 weeks, so I've missed out on the job grant by about 5 days. Even more frustratingly, I have a week long unpaid induction, but because I am unavailable for work I had to sign off for the first day of my induction, not the first day of work. Triply frustrating, I had about a 6 week wait between finishing uni and my official leaving date!

It's a really cheeky question, but I was wondering if anybody knew how fixed the 26 weeks thing is, or whether there is a bit of leeway? I'm not suddenly going to get any more skint in 5 days time!

Thanks :)

I agree, and since the introduction of the NMW unpaid work is usually illegal! ;)
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Boo, annoying.

My job is overseas, so I'm not covered by NMW laws. Thanks anyway
