Food vouchers, nutritional advice and discounted activities are all part of Change4Life's "Great Swapathon".
The food and fitness industries are paying for the tokens, as part of the government's plans to involve business in the promotion of healthy living.

But food policy experts have previously raised doubts about involving big firms in public health campaigns.
By filling in a questionnaire on the Great Swapathon website, people can get access to £50 vouchers giving money off healthier food and activities.

The government says £250million of vouchers are being made available as an incentive to get people swapping their unhealthy habits.

edit. No sure yet whats its all about just saw the headline on BBC web site. I am a bit tired digesting it in at mo due to me being ill bit definitely says some vouchers are free

I saw this as well and checked in to the site, registered but although I have completed my profile - agreed to one swap - there seems no way to go further (my first one was using stairs instead of escalator) which I find puzzling but it says they email you so maybe more will follow!
Hope you are soon better savemoney!

There are some good tips on there. Most should be self-explanatory, but hopefully it'll go some way to moving people towards a healthier lifestyle. It's good to see parents introducing some of these tips to their children.

It made me chuckle when completing the survey and being asked about alcohol, as I'm tee-total, and having to answer 'Yes' to the questions. I haven't touched any spirits or beers for 20+ years and it doesn't give you the option to say 'I don't drink'. Anyway, enough of my preaching! :o

Thanks to savemoney. Hope you are feeling better soon. :)
    Life's what you make it....

Life beyond voluntary work scares me, but what else is there?

    From BBC Website:

"Four million £50 voucher books will be on offer through the News of the World and Asda stores.
One million will be available through local businesses which have signed up to Change 4 Life, the government's health-promoting initiative".

In todays news of the world it says the vouchers will be in next weeks paper.

No idea because all I keep getting is a server error. It said in my paper today that the vouchers will be in next weeks paper so I am just going to have a look then.
