    Mortgage-free Glee!
I have a birthday in mid-January, so have never started dieting/ healthier eating until that's gone by - and often not until the end of January. That way the extra goodies can be finished up with a clear conscience! I wonder if there are many folks who manage to only buy just what they will be able to eat over the Christmas period and no more? Even this year when I knew there'd be only two of us for most of it, and we were planning no entertaining for once - still I have a full cheese-board untouched in the fridge!
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!

I made the leftover double cream into butter and froze it for cake making, the cheese has been grated and frozen, although I don't hold out much hope for the Brie getting frozen, so I've done one slice and will check it in a day or two and see how it defrosts, I will be back at work in a couple of weeks so can make some nice sandwiches/wraps with it, the food stuff has all been turned into meals of one sort or another and frozen, all that's really left are tortilla chips and nuts which are not my snack of choice, so my diet should be OK, the OH and the children will enjoy those (although he's trying to lose weight too!)

  • I don't start dieting until all the Holiday stuff is eaten or frozen that way there is no temptation when I do start the diet . Me and DH low carb anyway so we can have cream etc
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
