Does anyone know if these are any good? I looked at getting one a while ago but didn't because of the price, but at this price I'd be tempted if people thought they were good0

Ours are awesome! They wake me up easily and have improved the number of snoozes no end.If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0

I bought a similar item in Maplin a few weeks ago. It is great. I get to sleep so much more easily with the sleep function.
My daughter is also looking for one, so I've ordered this one. Not sure yet if she's getting the Philips one or the Maplin one, though.0 -
Lots of reviews on Amazon

This seems a stupid idea
"The lamp is non-replaceable. Who's idea was that? All bulbs fail, some sooner rather than later. So when the bulb does fail, you're left with a very expensive alarm clock and no light. Philips say this is for safety reasons, but I reckon it is all about profit. If the bulbs fail, you have to buy a new wake up light. After all, some of the lights in the same range have user replaceable bulbs, so how can it be safe to replace those, but not the one in this? "Does anyone know if these are any good? Boots sometimes do the Lumie ones in their sale, as I got one for DD 4 years ago and will be looking for one for DS when he has shown his face.
I also have the original make ones where you can put your own lamp on and the alarm clock gives it the signal to slowly light up or fade.
Both of these the light bulbs are replaceable.
https://www.lumie.com have some offers at the moment....not £39.95 like this phillips but £49.95 for the same one as DD has which has both sunset, sunrise and beep alarm features....0
