Good Value Family Summer Holiday 2011???

Hi,
I am looking for inspiration for a good value, two week summer holiday. There are 4 of us, two adults, a 13 year old and an 11 year old.
Essentials:
In school holidays.
Reasonably priced.
Suitable for family.
Desirables (but not essential):
Warm or Hot climate.
Beach or pool.
Reasonably priced activities/trips.
Scuba diving for experienced diver.
We are happy to try new things including food and normally travel self catering, booking flights and accomodation seperately but can be flexible.
In recent years we have visited Majorca, Dahab (Egypt) and Icmeler (Turkey). Happy to travel pretty much anywhere as long as it is not massively expensive to get there and fairly cheap when we get there (too much to ask? :rotfl:).
Has anybody got any ideas on where is still fairly cheap (probably not Eurozone
)? We normally fly but open to travel by ferry.
Would really appreciate any inspiration.
Thanks

Tough to cope with all requests , so if you are willing to stay with the Euro
Cyprus might be an idea.0 -
I would suggest Tunisia, suitable for all the family, its a place that you can do as much or as little as poss. Excursions are very reasonablely priced, you could do a 2 day trip and see North to South Tunisia, - including el jem ampi theatre, caves where people live, where they filmed star wars, see the sahara desert, an salt lakes, def recommend that.
I've stayed in Hammamet, been to 5 different hotels, but loved the last and been back there 3 times, Phencia, in most brocheres and Direct Holidays. Thats 3 pools, beach front, - most hotels in Hammamet aren't far from the beach.
Cyrpus is nice - but for the concern is the price related to the euro - what things are charged over there.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Thanks for the replies. Looking at Tunisia and perhaps Bulgaria. Has anybody been on a family holiday to Bulgaria? Is there enough to do? Which area is best to stay?
The kids don't need constant entertainment such as kids clubs but do like to do a few trips/activitiues during the holiday. Previous trips have included jeep safari, quad safari, boat trips, mud baths, water parks, museums.

Given that I live in the 'so called' English Riviera I might give those a miss
. We normally spend a little less than £2000 with spending money on top. 0 -
