Had a few Bargains in Bridgend. £1 each for some fancy furry stoles/shrugs and £5 for dresses. Looked like a lot of trousers for £3 to. Hope that helps someone.0

Yes still there, I was in there yesterday !!0 -
Do they mark the labels in some way at the Next clearance store? I have always wondered why some on ebay some sellers selling Next clothing say 'the label has been cut to prevent store returns'

labels are only cut if the company dont want it to be resold under their name - usually because it didnt pass their manufacturing standards - items with cut labels would have been sold-on wholesale, without even hitting the stores
retail and outlet stores do not cut or remove labels, to stop returns - Next did use to put a red dot with marker pen on the label, but even that has stopped now

I also find it annoying that They don't have changing rooms, but it is good that the items can be returned to any Next stores. Its so handy and more than a lot of the other outlet stores do.
Gonna have a look in my local one on Fri.:T0 -
I watch in fascination at Birmingham clearance store. Whole families go in, plant a person in the corner and then grab armfuls of items and throw them at the corner person to stand guard! Then they go through the items at their leisure and throw the ones they don't want onto the floor....
Today in Birmingham the queues were approximately 60 people long and it was like a free for all. The suit jackets were down to £7 and a lot of dodgy tops were £2. Sizes 6 & 8 everywhere and size 22 upwards there were loads of.
I gave up and came out empty handed. Went over to Thorntons instead and got a box of cherry chocolates reduced to £2.00! Far more satisfying me thinks!0 -
We went to Clarks Village Outlet centre in Street, Somerset the other day. It was quite good. I hadn't been for years and it seems to have expanded now.. so many shops I got lost trying to find my way back to the car!
They have a big next clearance there. I had a quick look around, but couldn't face it as it was heaving with people and I didn't have much time to look around. You definitely need to rumage though!
When I lived in Oxford from 2003-2007 whilst at uni, they had a great Next Clearance store in the Westgate centre. I went there quite often! Two floors! Best to go at off peak times though!0 -
