  • Does anyone know if the Choice Discount Store is still at the Arcadia Centre in Ealing please? I remember years ago when I used to work in Ealing there was a Next Clearance shop there but haven't been there for years and don't want to go there one day if it's not there.

  • There is no need to be rude, happy new year to you too!!

The reason I ask (for those who do have manners) is that I searched google which brought this up

    http://www.clearanceoutlets.co.uk/next/

It there tells me the Next clearance outlets which appear to be different from the Next website? and my local one is called a Choice Discount Store?

Edit - I have just read through and I am correct, Choice Discount Stores is a Next clearance outlet. It may be worth having a look at this list as it shows the stores that stock Next furniture at discount too.

I have a Choice discount store near me and I got a mens Atari tshirt for two pounds and my mum got two pairs of smart trousers for eight or so pounds each last week. It's very hit and miss but there have been some good finds there over the years. Ours is small but has a little home section with cushions and rugs and a couple of drawer units.

There is a difference between Choice and a Next outlet, although they both sell next stuff. The offical Next outlet store like the one I went to yesterday is where all the old sale stock from the main stores go. You get better discounts at those outlets but there's not normally more than the odd coupld of each item.

The Choice stores, I don't think are owned by Next (Correct me if I'm wrong). They buy out of season stock from Next in bulk so they have several of the same item available. I've never seen the items in there for as cheap as what they are in the Next Outlet. They also sell other brands as well as Next.

Either way I hope you get a bargain!

I have found plenty of bargains in Next Outlet store in Ashford. I got a £49 jumper with shirt for £10, xmas pressie to the OH. Have previously bought bags, clothing, accesories etc for £1 or £2 but my biggest bargain has to be an Coat which was originally priced at £59 and I got it for £6 :)
Some good stuff but it is hit and miss with the prices.

Savvybunny2009, I think the link you posted is just info as to which stores are selling Next clearance Items.

Wiki states that Next Clearance is owned by Next PLC.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Next_(clothing)

They only sell Next and Lime and Next Specials (now selling some brand named products from thier catalogue too, Adidas, Nike etc, but all unsold from Next catalogue)

whereas the choice discount stores sell all unsold and surplus stock from many brands, inc Next.

I am able to use my Next gift cards in the Next outlet as it is one of thier branches. But not in the choice discount stores as its a seperate company :(. Boo Hiss!!

Hi anyone been in the Junction One Next or Outlet in Banbridge. Am planning to head out tomoorow. Thanks for any help.
  • Was in the Glasgow one today. Didn't have any jewellery but did have some plus sizes in dresses and trousers. Bought a leather belt for £1.00.
  • Hiya, the Next clearance @ freeport, Braintree made further reductions yesterday. They had loads of jeans & trousers at £3, tops @ £2, I also got some pairs of shoes for my boys at £1 a pair. They had lots of girlswear at £2 but not so much boys, still lots of bargins to be had. I f you are not too far away its worth a trip.

I went to my local one and to be honest-there's not much left, just loads of oversized stuff or things without further reductions. did come away with a chunky cardi which needs a little mending for £2, and a pair of black trousers for £3(no price attatched, so worth taking anything you like to the till to see if it has further reductions)

Next Clearance and Choices are not the same

Choices tends to have alot of the 'Lime' clothing, which is cheapy stuff specifically made to be sold in the outlet stores, or it has items that most people have never seen in the actual next stores, so was either samples, or seconds

the Next Clearance stores have stock that has actually been sold on the highstreet, and is being cleared out to make way for the new season clothing, although they too sell a few items from the 'Lime' range
