Debt suggestions - card tarting maybe?

Hi - wonder if i could get a little advise.

I owe 1800 pounds, to two companies one being a halifax credit card with 1300 and one being edge card (comet etc) with £500. I have made it my mission to pay these cards off by June this year, but im wondering as I pay £25 interest each month at the moment if theres any sort of credit card available that I could avoid interest in the short term in order to make my payments remove the debt rather than part paying interests.

I am full time employed earning around £1250 per month - these are my only debts. I dont know about my credit rating, I have never had a debt collection letter etc, but around a year ago I did (through complete stupidity and lack of organisation) was late with a couple of minimum payments.

I have been working for about 8 months in my current employment and I am full time perminant.

I am hoping to make payments of £350 per month to get rid of my debts.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks :)

thats not the end of the world - its interest free until April anyway, so if i put minimum into halifax for a month and a half I could pay that off with my £350 - any recommendations with halifax?

You might want to post a statement of affairs on the DFW site and the people on there will help you. You will need details of your income and expenditure with interest rates and details of when deals end. On your salary and your debt though, you should be able to do this with a bit of self-discipline!
