camera advice please

well my 4 year old panasonic camera has had its lens knocked off track so its not worth repairing.
so im looking for a new one. there are some great buys in the sale at the moment but im not sure which are the better ones to go for.
i have a budget of £100. i like the sound of the casio one with the new 'make up' feature but i think its out of my budget. the camers would be used for family snaps and hols ect so just a good all round one thats easy to use would be perfect.
any advice would be great
