Non-chlorinated pools

Does anyone know how I can find swimming pools that don't use chlorine? I've googled but no success. I don't live near the coast, so fresh-water sea pools are no good.
I have bad skin and ordinary pools irritate me terribly.

Thanks for the link. A summertime dip, methinks?
Do you know of any indoor pools?0 -
We used to belong to an Esporta Private Health and Fitness club in Bristol and their pool was Chlorine free. It was very nice to swim in.
Might be worth trying some of the private health clubs in your area? Probably not very cheap though!

I'm afraid I don't. I don't get the opportunity much ATM but you do get used to cold water (I've broken ice on New Year's before for a dip)and tbh always feel better for it. You can also swim in a wet suit for a bit of protection, but I brace my self and get on with it when I can. One thing I will say is tht something VERY warm and comfortable to wear afterwards is always vital. I find clothes like tracksuits better for afterwards than jeans when wild swimming in winter.0 -
I am a giant wuss when it comes to the cold. I need Victorian bathers in high summer.
Thanks for the other info. I'll ring 'round the private centres and see.0
