Barclaycard Gold?

Hello
I have a LTSB Duo card and always clear any balance on that, however dont use any airmiles, so think a barclaycard may be better, I tried the pre-application checkered and its said 80-90% approval chance for a Gold or Initial and 70-80% for platinum, does anyone know how accurate the pre-application form is?
