New Printer - recommendations

Hi

I need to buy a new printer, mainly to print assignments (pages of text only) and to print worksheets off, some in colour for my daughter. Can anyone recommend a good printer that is cheap to run and preferably wireless. Im trying to weigh up the costs of laserjet against inkjet etc.

Epson printers have the better availability of compatible cartridges, possibly need to check the SX ones for compatibility, buying direct from Epson can get the offer of a 3 year warranty.

You can get compatibles for most printers but they can be expensive by comparison to Epson
