Hamleys Returns?

OK, I'm sorry if I'm asking this in the wrong section. Anyway. I bought my son's christmas present from Hamley's. However, at some point over Christmas, I managed to either throw out or misplace the receipt. Last night, we noticed my son's toy seems to have developed a fault. Does anyone know if Hamleys offer an exchange if you don't have the receipt? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :A

how did you pay, if it was by card then you could print of a bank statement to prove that you had purchased something from the store and this is normally adequate for stores. The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

Yes, I paiid for card, but it wasn't the only thing I bought in that transaction. Will the bank statement stilll be sufficient?Make £2012 in 2012 Member 2290

Yes it should be, it would probably be worth just phoning them up to forwarn them that you are coming etc.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
