Morning everyone,

Pouring down here this morning. DD given up and stayed off school as she has no voice and her throat is still sore. Teachers kept asking her if she didn't want to go yesterday. Going off to buy some food now - unfortunately we can't eat cereal for all our meals.

Hope everyone who is full of cold is better soon, :coffee: (Have a steaming hot lemsip on me!).

I am still recovering after my mammoth win on friday - A washing machine and a years supply of laundry products :eek: :j. I had 2 further phonecalls about it yesterday and it looks like I will be receiving it very soon.

I had a hospital appointment yesterday which went very well, then we went down to Wells in Somerset for a bit of shopping and lunch. It was a glorious day, so sunny and warm and lunch was scrummy too!

Thanks for all the good wishes for dd. She has perked up a bit since the delivery guy brought her new skirts from the Tesco sale! Not being able to speak is seriously annoying her!!! Hope you feel better soon too LadyM.

Hope your washing machine comes soon Molly - the washing powder alone would have been a good prize! Were you needing a new one?

Are you packed yet Lily? Hope the weather improves for you.

Thanks sheils. I started packing last night, but I need to take it all out again and pack it better tonight and try to fit a few more things in! DH is at football tonight so I'll do it while he's out then try to chill out a bit after that. I like holidays but I always get a bit nervous about the travelling to get there. I need one of these:

Yes that would be handy! My DS moans about travelling every time we go somewhere even when its somewhere he really wants to go!
How long are you going for? My parents are in Tenerife just now. We love Tenerife so quite jealous although we are going in October for 2wks.
DD is still managing to squeek at me!:D
