Afternoon all! :hello:
My Dorset Cereal and apron arrived yesterday! :j Tucked into a bowl of it this morning, and it's lovely! Think I'll have to save it for weekends only though as it's a bit naughty to have every day!
Haven't had a single freebie through the post this month yet, have only had ones free with magazines. Where is that postie putting them?:rotfl:
Yesterday he didn't even put a card through about my parcel, next-door just dropped it round as it had been left with them, it's lucky they're honest! :A
I hope everyone's having a good day.

PPS Anybody fancy coming to Madame Butterfly avec moi to the Albert Hall on the 12th March - just say ........................ xxx
You will love "Madame Butterfly" Esther......I took my daughter in law for her Birthday treat and we had a wonderful day. The setting in the Royal Albert Hall is simple but just stunningOur Granddaughter, Caitlin Freya is now 7 years old, growing up to be a lovely young lady and our Grandson, Findlay Ewan is 3 years old and still a lovable bundle of mischief
one of each, how perfect

I am hoping that the postal/text regulars could answer this question for me please. I have put this here rather than postals so not clogging up thread with chat.
Do you use unfranked stamps? Does this cause them to be returned?
I have so far used new stamps but thought I might start using unfranked stamps. Whilst browsing on Ebay unfranked stamps are cheaper but quite often has a big disclaimer that the Post Office can refuse to send them as they have already been through postal system which puts me off.
Also for txt comps is there a good payg that anyone would recommend? I was going to buy Tesco as you get triple credit but t&c state that free credit not to be used on premium numbers or txts.
Thanks in advance x
i use new stamps. if i get an unfranked stamp on an envelope to me i will attempt to peel it of and restick it to be used again, but i cba to do that in bulk. i do buy them in the packs of 100 though, most frequently just form royal mail direct because by the time you add postage costs onto the couple of quid saved for the new book of stamps on ebay i generally find its cheaper to buy say 2 x 100 2nd class, or 1 2nd and 1 1st together and get free next day delivery from royal mail. and i feel like im buying them less frequently then :rotfl:
texting wise i tried a tesco sim but get the same rubbish reception in my house as i do with my contract o2 phone. they used my paid text for comp entries and my free credit ended up being worthless and not used.
i currently have an orange payg, on dolphin because i liked the idea of mobile internet as a top up reward, but then i won my iphone. i keep it now because i know the number and it gets good reception even inside my house :T think i tried a t mobile one too a while ago, didnt find any difference between costs between one and other...not as a comping mobile anyway0 -
Thanks for the reply Purplecat.
I think buying new stamps are probably the best bet. Would hate to spend money on stamps that turned out to be useless!
I have orange and it's fine. I was just hoping that there was an all singing all dancing sim package that I could use that would cost too much!!!0 -
