Hope everyone has had a good start to the week? Mine hasn't been great Was waiting for the bus this morning and a poor doggy got hit by a car further up the road. It was yelping but managed to get off the road. The driver, passenger and a couple of other people (I think one may have been the owner) managed to get it bundled up in a blanket or something and looked to be getting into the car with it so fingers crossed the vets managed to help it... Poor, poor doggy.

Then had a stressful day at work (it's a good thing I deal with most of my colleagues via email or someone would have ended up strangled today :wall:)

Then to top it off OH looks to have knackered his laptop :mad:


Think I'll shut up now. If anyone wants me I'll be sat in the corner rocking, muttering and clutching a bottle of cider...

Thought the week was starting badly for me as DS2 phoned to say the hotel he works in as a chef had been sold and the staff are being turfed out of the staff accomodation and they can't find anywhere to stay. Phoned back later to say he has got a new job in a nearby hotel. He didn't want to leave the area as he has a new (serious) relationship. There is always something!

Sorry red don't know anything about digital radios - just listen on the TV when I want to listen.

Glad to hear your son got something sorted sheils. It must have been a shock for him though!

It was only 6 months ago he was poached from his last job by the last owners! He gave up a flat then - grass is always greener for DS2! He is a brilliant chef so jobs never a problem but not always where he wants them.
