Kim 'n' Aggie have been round begging me for tips Wingo. Pretty busy in work at the moment as well so have been tired when I get in. Poor neglected hubby wants me to start comping again though - think he is getting too much attention & cant get peace to watch the telly lol. I am going to give myself the rest of the month & start again 1st March - life isn't the same when you aren't rushing back from work to see if the postie has been good to you. Need to go to bed soon but will speak to you all soon

Morning all,

Love the dog korky - he will be being sent to DH's aunt later! (Hope you don't mind) Have to take the car in for a service (very big one!) and MOT today. Car is nearly 7 so needing expensive things done :eek: Its a people mover so been keeping it until we don't need one any more and then we can buy a smaller car.

Afternoons all

I had a lovely spoilt val day, roses, chocs n dinner cooked for me.....he is good lol

No wins since the watch but hey gotta keep going can't win if ya not in it hey

My poor house needs a good going over thou it's been left with OH being off work last week so I shall enter a couple more comps then spin myself round into housewife mode....thou LO will need feeding in 30mins so mite just wait till after then lol

Well done to all that have won comps in last few days

They have kept our car over night as they were running out of time to fit its new timer belt!!! They have left us with a titchy little courtesy car. At least it has had its MOT and service. Estimated cost of all this is £800 - I will never get DH to buy a new car now. :rotfl:
Never had a car this long before, hardly seems anytime since it was gleaming in the showroom!

Anyone had a nice win today?

Can't really complain korky - had the car for 7 years and only paid for services , tyres etc. Didn't know cars needed new timing belts between 50,000 and 70,000 miles. (checked it on internet incase someone was trying to con us!) Seemingly they can break down and cause real damage if you don't replace them.

Hate those twinings tbags but my DH likes them too. He drinks the ginger one.:)
