I just knew someone would find a cheaper one. My main point, possibly not expressed well, was not the big buttons but the SOS pendant, do they have SOS pendant facility?
I have not checked Argos & TBH cannot be ar5ed, but the SOS pendant facility was the best bit I thought
Prior to her death my mum had SOS pendant, for which we paid a monthly fee [and no the Social Services / Council did not provide free one]
All this pendant did was dial a call centre in Devon and they phoned a nominated person [neighbour / keyholder] to pop in. They did not, nor did Council / Social services have provision to send any one round. This was Tory rural Wiltshire, not a Socialist Republic in a northern city
So, the £39.99 could be a cheaper option than paying a call centre to do what you / carer can do anyway, which is call someone else to pop in

My mother has a pendant but she doesn't like wearing it <Sih>"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Nor did mine, always on the bedside table, so when she fell out of bed one night she lay freezing on the floor all night until the carer turned up in the morningEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
