All those colours were swirling around before my eyes!

If/when you do go north, I recommend Galicia and Asturias. Awesome walking, Camino territory...

Thanks AM, we're deliberately missing those areas this time as I'd like to do some of the Camino maybe next year. Will be round the Santander/Bilbao area I think, but a bit inland.

Equally good places to go! Lots of green and undulating landscapes. Enjoy!

In other, money saving related news (ish.....) my 'orchard' is doing well :D. The orange trees are covered in blossom, it smells beautiful, amazing how much scent comes from two trees :rotfl:. The lemon tree which I didn't even notice flowering last year (though it must have, as it produced six lemons :)) is also flowering, not as copiously but even so :T. I'd never actually smelled lemon blossom before, it's very different to orange, quite sharp and almost citrusy. And my 'mystery tree' is also flowering so I've been able to identify it as a peach tree (always a strong possibility as quite a few peach stones on ground beneath it but always a chance the previous owners could have chucked them there from the roof terrace :rotfl:). So, hopefully a few peaches this year and lots of lemons and oranges :j.

Which will go a long way to offsetting the massive electricity bills - over €300 in three months :eek::eek:.
