In other matters....... tenant who did a runner months ago left a sewing machine in its case behind. Tonight I have actually opened the case up. I'm going in......... wish me luck

  • First of all, work and that Sunday feeling, I do hope that you have managed to have a good Sunday despite the "feeling".

I did a count down of Sunday evening trips to London on the train, which was always my lowest point. You are now less than 50 to go and with holidays, bank holidays etc you can probably lose another 6 or so leaving 44 once it gets below 20 it really flies. I was so in the place that you are but really the last twelve months did go quite quickly partly because once people knew I was leaving I felt less solely responsible for the poor behaviour and actions of my colleagues. Sending positive vibes with all my might.

Do I need to send Mr T on a rescue mission?

Do you want my hounds to drug test the case first before you go in?

    Thanks Toots :)

:rotfl: Tilly :rotfl:I've opened it and there is a power lead and a bit of material is underneath the foot so hopeful it's in working order. That's enough for one night and am celebrating with a cheeky gin while watching the Ryder Cup highlights .

  • I've been watching the Ryder Cup on and off over the weekend.

I like Americans on an individual basis, but it's such fun beating them! :j:beer::T

Got that 'Sunday evening' feeling already - and it's still Sunday morning :(. Work exceedingly stressful and am fed up of putting a brave face on it and trying to rally the troups - all well and good but no-one is rallying me. Mistake made by someone on Friday may well be the straw that broke the camel's back - and I'm a camel with an exceedingly big back! Quite simply I CBA anymore :(. B*ll*cks to the lot of them .

Was so disappointed with the contents of the sewing machine case. Was hoping to read it was stuffed with used tenners .... or ...dubious looking little bags of powder....
    :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
