Well done on the weightloss.0

Oh dear, missing in action again
.
That would be because I had an error on my bank rec and had to go back to beginning of Jan to trace it . I reconcile pretty much daily but suspect in the last day ot two I simply entered an amount on wrong line and on wrong spreadsheet (though I can't find the £23.96 missing anywhere else!).
It was such a faff I'm going to change the way I do my banking. Currently the S123 has my main account in it, plus house account plus my own savings. So basically the account balance consists of 3 mini accounts. What took so long to check was all the Tilly Tidies etc where I'd moved money from one pot to another. So, I've decided I'm no long going to do Tilly Tidies  or virtually transfer money over, instead I'm just going to transfer over the balance on the day before payday. And I'm also stopping keeping such detailed records of where every penny OP'd has come from . Life is too short . But will still be frugal :A.
Cut the grass today. Well, I suspect some of it was actually a grass/seaweed cross . But with the forecast being for a warm & sunny week I thought if I could manage it then the warm air would get at the ground better. Also weeded my pots and potted on my spring onions and radishes
.... and trimmed some bushes
. Nice to sit outside in the warmth, not even in the sun but still lovely :T. Determined to spend as much time as possible outside this year. And as ground soaking and chairs would sink in grass and stoned area I'll just have to get the hammock out .
Suspect there will be no weight lost this week.
Have a good week all.

Hi Gally. If you've not already tried Micr0s0ft M0n£y I'd recommend it. Makes it much easier to track and reconcile as you can set up entries as transfers so they automatically appear in both accounts. It's no longer available to buy but you can download for free from the Mic0s0ft site.
Well done on the daily interest :T

Tilly Tidies - I've never used them, GG, I *get* that they're a good wheeze to save, but I'm already transferring everything I can from regular savings to tax free and pension, the rest of it is so little on my income, I need it all
Your day in the garden sounds lovely! I didn't manage to actually sit down outside, but my patio is very nearly in good enough shape to actually sit - one more go with a broom ("solidified" soil, a.k.a. clay, is sitting there after clearing a container) and I'm good to go.
My grass isn't grass/seaweed as much as grass/moss (with a genuine fungus!) very interesting2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
