GG, your emoticons and animated gifs make me smile. Is your twig showing any sign of life? Mine is exactly in the same state as it was when it was unpacked. Hope sugared almonds  will make their presence felt atleast next year, or is it wishful thinking:o

Just for US - a twig update........
Em...... on the assumption that the hibiscus is the single stem twig and the tree paeony is the three stemmed (is that right US).....
Hibiscus - can no longer be called a twig. Very definite shoot coming out of the top :T.
Tree paeony - lots of little green buds, will definitely be a plant next week :j.
Magnolia - excellent example of the large twig family. Am looking for a suitable gardening exhibition as it would wipe the floor with the other entrants. It looks like this:

Chicks are growing really quickly :j
No TillyTidy as only whole pounds have gone out.
New shower fitted and only charged £40 :T, need to drop off money later.
One of the btl's is costing a fair bit (again).
Cleaner is on holiday  so I need to do some housework . Already OP'd what I would have paid her.
Chuffing freezing here and I've put the heating on for an hour .
DD for sofas didn't get transferred properly so have been paying my card for last month or two. Just going to phone up and pay off last 2 months, so from next month another £64.10 a month to OP :j.
Need to do a small shop (don't need a lot as off on holiday in 5 sleeps) and decide what to cook for dinner - fish curry sounding good
. Also 2 MS's to do, will get £10 of fuel on one of them :T.
Mr GG and I off for an adventure tomorrow :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

What sort of adventure would that be? Is it a sunbathing adventure? I always think those are the best adventures.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Thanks for the twig update on all three counts. Mine, with the exception of the tree peony are still in twig-state.

Twig update: _._._________________
Looking like there's life in the old twig after all :rotfl:.
Fish curry turned into roast tomatoes & asparagus with feta cheese, followed by turkey sweet n sour (with shop bought sauce, Lidl weekly deal). Very nice it was too
.
Got some spreadsheet playing to do :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Oh dear. Been scheming again. Think we're going to sell, and buy a slightly cheaper, smaller and much more modern property with higher yield and lower running costs. Obviously means giving tenant notice which I'm not happy about but at the end of the day this is a business and it's supposed to make money
