I like doing this when the family descends - gives me some peace and quiet and a simple chore to do whenever I want to escape someone or something
I think you have something there Katsu

Well, back onto my own thread for some sanity/sanctuary from all those planning on spending 5p in January and meal plans based on random peas rolling about the freezer (or is that just mine
). Now I know why Tilly keeps going for long walks in the fields near her.....
None of that nonsense on here, will be spend, spend, spend all the way.

Soooooooooooo................................ about this frugal January......................:o. Off to set up meal plan and venture into fridge/freezer. Of course, this will clash horribly with the Jan lose weight challenge, unless the cheese, pate, cheese straws, crisps etc are actually calorie free.
ETA:
The good news is that with piddly little bits paid off debt to Mr GG (£55.67 in total from 4 different things, not quite Tilly standard) I have knocked a month off end date for that. Now 28/1/16 :T.
The bad news is I need another £1288 extra to knock another month off .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

The thought of going shopping turns me right off, though I may hit M&S tomorrow as I have something to return.
My only spends over Xmas have been on music for MP3 - a mix of a few downloads, 2nd hand CD's and new CD's - cheaper to buy that way than download a lot of tracks which is v puzzling. Still, gave me an opportunity for a spreadsheet to calculate net cost after they are resold
.

Evening GG, I agree the idea of going near a shop is just too much - am I really the same person who would spend £120 on food a week?

Hi- sorry I haven't posted in an age. Well done on reducing your MFD. I haven't checked ours in ages.
I have no idea how we'll ever get through all our cheese straws, tortillas etc. I also have a ton of cheese left so I might try macaroni cheese with a layer of crumbled chilli tortillas on top to give it some crunch and kick!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0
